  I would not hesitate to use the hospital but don't let nurses fail to give you the attention you need and document everything.

  I'm an international student who been to emergency after car accident. Your emergency department charged me 500dollars deposit although I'm covered with OSHC and TAC. And still not refunding it for 2 and a half months. I have been to hospital because no one ever responds my message, they said they will refund today when I visited hospital in person from Ballarat where I live. Calling many times, left message only answer 2 times and no progress still. Can any one help me to get my 500 bucks deposit back from this hospital?

  Some nurses are sensational, like the young nurse that sat with me for hours after she finished for the day. I was alone and facing an op a few hours later and everyone involved expected me to die on the table. That young lady was a saint.

  The 7 hr wait in emergency without seeing a Dr no matter how much l cried and begged to be seen, still nothing and the more horrible thing is that there were some really sick people who i noticed when I first walked in and they hadn't been seen either! Im epileptic so I have had lots of experience in Emergency Room's hahaha.

  They have been looking after me for years. I have nothing but praise for most staff. However with a couple of notable exceptions, I found ward nurses either lazy, overworked, or both. I was critically ill and medications were missed but marked on chart as administered. This was verified by every patient in the ward as the same happened to all of them

  This was in fairness a once of incident but as an inpatient we were often left sitting on toilets for 30 minutes, waiting for assistance despite buzzing the nurse several times.
